Sally looked after our retired showjumping pony Misty for us. He was very elderly and needed a special diet due to his worn flat teeth! He kept his twinkle in his eyes and was very much full of beans (although very creaky with it!) until the end. He made it to 26! We are incredibly grateful that Misty really enjoyed his retirement to the fullest!

Sally looked after my TBxWelsh mare after she sustained a tendon injury. Ginny was looked after very nicely and I got to see her regularly which was such a bonus as I missed her terribly. Sally liaised with the vet and farrier as Ginny had special support shoes on. A year and a half later Ginny is now back in full work and we will be aiming to compete in Combined Training this summer. Having Ginny looked after so well made such a difference, I work full time and would have struggled to manage this type of injury on my own. Thanks for looking after my lovely girl!

I have two horses on retirement livery at Portsands Farm. Both horses are incredibly happy and are loving their retirement in the care of Sally and John. Both Sally and John have a wealth of knowledge and experience and my horses could not be in better hands. Nothing is too much trouble and we are always made very welcome when we visit. Very highly recommended.
